If you're looking to buy a robot vacuum that also mop, this is the model to look for. It's smaller than the other models on this list making it easier to maneuver in tight corners and under furniture. It uses a 220 degree lidar, which when combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the most effective navigation and object avoidance that I've ever seen in a robot vacuum. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery mid-clean.
It's efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one sweep. Its suction motor of 8,000pa is quick at picking up sand, dirt and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help to tease out dirt from corners.
The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by a lot. The rotating mop spins at a high velocity and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily cleaning up dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms extend out slightly more than other robots, which is useful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to collect larger pieces of debris, like broken toys and books.
The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've used. It doesn't create the same amount of noise when mopping or vacuuming and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform its mopping function and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is simple to install and works well. However when you purchase this robot vacuum to mop it is important to be aware of this.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a variety of features.

The Matrix Plus also did a remarkable job at collecting hair from pets. The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it does have some unique features which make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as an 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.
The base comes with a couple of buttons for control that let you manually start cleaning tasks, recall the robot or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to turn off a child lock that is a great feature for parents who are worried about their children playing with the vacuum.
The X1 Omni like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to spot obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will stay clear of them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more precise at recognising objects.
Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni can occasionally become so entangled with an obstacle--such as a power cord draped across a rug, that it gets stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. This was a rare incident however it was frustrating since the X1 does not have a "stuck status" alert in its application.
The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad but the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between use. This can lead to mildew and mold.
On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its modern, sleek base and mopping pad. It's a significant change from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome view in a market which is dominated by clunky boxy models.
